Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Offline Games, including local multiplayer rooms, chat, game templates and template import or export. By using the app, you agree to these terms.
The service
Offline Games lets nearby devices play and communicate over a local hotspot without a developer-operated game server. One device acts as the host and controls the room and game state. Features, templates and platform capabilities may change as the app develops.
Eligibility and supervision
You must be legally able to agree to these terms. If you are under the age required to consent in your country, use the app only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.
Local rooms and connections
The host is responsible for creating and securing the hotspot, keeping the host app available, approving players and ending the room. Join only rooms and networks you trust. Local connections can be interrupted by operating-system restrictions, radio conditions or device settings.
Your content and conduct
You are responsible for names, profile images, chat messages, guesses, drawings, rules, cards and other content you share. Do not share unlawful, abusive, deceptive, infringing or harmful content, interfere with a room, impersonate others or attempt unauthorized access to another device.
Game templates
Imported and user-created templates are data files interpreted by the app's supported engine functions. You must have the right to use and share their rules, text and artwork. Compatibility, balance and correctness are not guaranteed, and unsupported or invalid instructions may be rejected.
Ownership and permission
Offline Games and its built-in design, software and branding remain the property of their respective owners. You receive a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the app. You retain your rights in original content you create and grant other room participants permission to receive and display content you intentionally share with them.
Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains local storage, device permissions and direct transfers between nearby players. Content sent to a room may remain on another participant's device, so do not share anything you do not want those participants to keep.
Availability and updates
The app is provided on an as-available basis. We may add, change or remove features and templates, and an operating-system or device update may affect local connectivity. You are responsible for backups of templates you do not want to lose.
Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app is provided without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose or compatibility with every device or template. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost content, failed local connections or conduct of other players. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the app at any time. We may restrict distribution or access where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law or address misuse. Terms that by their nature should continue, including ownership, disclaimers and liability limits, survive termination.
App stores and changes to these terms
Apple and Google may apply their own store terms and are not parties to local game sessions. We may update these terms when the service or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law.
